BADUNG, BALINEWS.ID – A fresh culinary chapter is unfolding in South Bali as ASAI Café introduces a wellness-inspired menu infused with subtle Russian touches, marking a new milestone in its evolution as part of the lifestyle concept at ASAI Village Jimbaran.
Officially launching in March 2026, the new menu reflects a thoughtful intersection of comfort food, mindful nutrition, and sustainable sourcing, a concept curated by Chef Rikky to align with the growing demand for holistic living in Bali’s Jimbaran area.
Under the direction of Chef Rikky, ASAI Café’s latest offerings strike a balance between hearty flavors and health-conscious preparation. The menu incorporates elements of Eastern European warmth, particularly Russian-inspired comfort dishes, while maintaining a clean, nourishing foundation.
“Our vision is to create food that feels comforting yet intentional,” Chef Rikky explained during the preview. “It’s about flavor, balance, and respecting ingredients.”
Among the standout dishes is a refined Pasta Bolognese, elevated with homemade ragù-style beef sauce, grana Padano, roast cherry tomatoes, and carefully layered seasoning. The Hummus Plate with Fresh Vegetables presents a colorful spread of house-made hummus paired with carrots, cucumbers, and sweet potatoes which designed for sharing and mindful snacking.
For brunch enthusiasts, the Caramelized Apple Pie Roll with cinnamon herbs, apple filling, icing sugar, and fresh strawberries offers natural sweetness without overwhelming richness. Meanwhile, the Crispy Cauliflower Bites, seasoned with butter herbs and served alongside salsa verde, wasabi mayo, and smoked mayo, deliver indulgence with a wholesome twist.
Protein-focused diners may gravitate toward the Potato Hashbrown with Cured Salmon, complemented by pica de gallo salad and yogurt, a textured, balanced plate aimed at active lifestyles.
Integrating Local Wellness Traditions
Beyond solid dishes, ASAI Café reinforces its holistic identity by incorporating traditional Indonesian herbal drinks, or jamu, into its beverage program.
“In addition to modern wellness cuisine, we proudly serve traditional jamu as part of our daily offerings,” said Anya, Public Relations Manager of ASAI Village Bali. “These herbal elixirs reflect Indonesia’s long-standing approach to preventative health and align perfectly with our philosophy of mindful living.”
Sustainability remains a central pillar of the café’s operations. Ingredients are sourced from trusted local farmers and producers, ensuring freshness while reducing environmental impact and strengthening community partnerships in Bali.
The café has also partnered with Noovoleum to responsibly recycle used cooking oil, a move that supports circular sustainability practices and responsible waste management.
More Than a Café
Located within ASAI Village Jimbaran, the café serves as more than just a dining spot. The village complex itself comprises 20 private premium villas, a recovery-focused spa, a multifunctional gym, and curated lifestyle facilities tailored for long-stay guests and residents seeking balance beyond the traditional resort experience.
With its new menu, ASAI Café positions itself as a conscious dining destination in Jimbaran, where cultural flavors, wellness principles, and sustainability converge in a relaxed village setting just minutes from the beach.
As Bali’s hospitality landscape continues to evolve, ASAI Café’s latest initiative signals a growing shift toward integrated lifestyle experiences, where nourishment is not merely about food, but about intention, community, and long-term well-being. (*)
