Panasonic Strengthens Long-Term Dealer Partnerships at 2026 National Dealer Gathering in Bali

BADUNG, BALINEWS – PT Panasonic Gobel Indonesia is reinforcing its long-term partnerships with dealers across Indonesia through its 2026 National Dealer Gathering (NDG), themed “Lifelong Partner,” held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) on Friday, October 30, 2026.

The event coincides with the 70th anniversary of Gobel’s dedication to Indonesia, highlighting Panasonic’s appreciation for its dealers’ contributions and its commitment to strengthening business collaboration as a foundation for sustainable growth.

Under the spirit of “Care For You,” Panasonic recognizes dealers as strategic partners who play a crucial role in expanding the reach of its products and solutions to consumers throughout Indonesia.

Masayuki Sasage, President Director of PT Panasonic Gobel Indonesia, said sustainable business growth depends not only on products and innovation but also on strong relationships built on trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to long-term development.

“For Panasonic, dealers are important partners in our long-term business journey. Through the theme ‘Lifelong Partner,’ we want to reaffirm our commitment to growing together with our dealers, building lasting relationships, and delivering relevant value to consumers,” he said.

He added that strong partnerships are increasingly important amid industry dynamics and changing consumer needs. Indonesia's household appliance market, including electronic products, continues to offer promising growth opportunities.

According to data presented by Panasonic, Indonesia’s household appliance market is projected to grow by an average of 6.5 percent annually through 2030, driven by increasing adoption of technology-based household devices, particularly in urban areas.

As part of NDG 2026, Panasonic showcased premium products from various business divisions, including Appliances, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Battery, Digital Imaging, Life Solutions, and Water Solutions.

One of the event's highlights was the Immersive Tunnel Matsushita and Gobel, a visual installation that invited participants to explore the historical partnership between Konosuke Matsushita and Drs. H. Thayeb Muhammad Gobel.

The installation presented the journey of their partnership, from its establishment and the development of business and manufacturing operations to sustainable business growth. It also reflected the importance of maintaining trust, shared vision, and collaboration across generations.

Arif Gobel, Director of PT Panasonic Gobel Indonesia, said the Matsushita-Gobel partnership demonstrated the importance of preserving core partnership values while ensuring their continued relevance for future generations.

He emphasized that the “Lifelong Partner” commitment should encourage stronger relationships with dealers, not only in terms of business achievements but also through joint efforts to address market changes and create future opportunities.

Meanwhile, Budi Pratama Widjaja, Chief Sales Officer of PT Panasonic Gobel Indonesia, highlighted the important role dealers play in connecting Panasonic with consumers.

To recognize their contributions, Panasonic organized a Gala Dinner & Awarding ceremony, presenting awards to dealers based on their business achievements and performance.

“Strong relationships with dealers must be supported by continuous collaboration, an understanding of market dynamics, and a shared commitment to delivering greater value to consumers,” Budi said.

The NDG 2026 program began with a Welcome Dinner at Canna Beach Club on October 29, followed by a day trip with dealers on October 30 and the Gala Dinner & Awarding ceremony.

Through the annual gathering, Panasonic aims to strengthen cross-business collaboration and maintain long-term relationships with its dealer network across Indonesia.

The 70th anniversary of Gobel’s dedication to the nation also serves as a reflection of the company's longstanding partnership journey and its commitment to delivering innovation, technology, and solutions that address the evolving needs of Indonesian consumers.
