BALINEWS.ID – The tropical paradise of Bali is once again gearing up to host one of the most prestigious tennis events on the international calendar, the AMMAN Men’s World Tennis Championship. After last year’s resounding success, the championship returns to the stunning Bali Beach Country Club in ITDC Nusa Dua, bringing seven back-to-back tournament series that promise high-intensity rallies and global star power.
Running from 21 July to 8 September 2025, the tournament opens with the Universal Tennis Rating Pro Tennis Tour (UTR PTT) and culminates in the International Tennis Federation World Tennis Tour (ITF WTT). The series features two UTR PTT events and five ITF WTT tournaments in M15 and M25 categories, offering total prize money ranging from USD 15,000 to USD 30,000 per series.
The action kicks off with the UTR PTT round-robin and playoff format (21–27 July), followed by the ITF Men’s Futures M15 (28 July–3 August). The intensity escalates with two consecutive M25 tournaments (4–10 August and 11–17 August), each offering USD 30,000 in prize money. After a short break, play resumes with another UTR PTT series (25 August), before the final M25 tournaments on 1 and 8 September, leading to the grand finale on 14 September 2025.
This year’s edition is set to attract elite players from over 50 countries, including the USA, Great Britain, France, Spain, Russia, Japan, and Australia. Indonesia’s own top talents, M. Rifqi Fitriadi, Nathan Barki, and Anthony Susanto, will battle it out against ATP-ranked stars like Arthur Gea (No. 286), Moerani Bouzigue (No. 336), Hiroki Moriya (No. 369), and Matthew Dellavedova (No. 418).
The championship is powered by main sponsor PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMAN), alongside Bank BNI, Permata Bank, Paiton Energy, MaxPower, Gorontalo Listrik Perdana, Minahasa Citra Lestari, Injourney, ITDC, and supported by The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Dunlop, Eternal Plus, and Pocari Sweat.
According to Lani Sardadi, Tournament Director and UTR PTT organizer, “Last year we welcomed over 200 players from around the world. This year, the addition of two UTR PTT events will not only raise the level of competition but also provide a fresh and exciting experience for the athletes.”
Kartika Octaviana, VP of Corporate Communications at AMMAN, emphasizes the company’s vision, “This championship reflects our ongoing commitment to empowering Indonesia’s youth through sports. We hope this tournament gives local athletes the platform to compete against the world’s best and inspire the next generation of tennis talent.”
With breathtaking island backdrops, fierce competition, and world-class players, the 2025 AMMAN Men’s World Tennis Championship is set to put Bali firmly in the global tennis spotlight once again. (*)
