BALINEWS.ID – Bali’s homegrown wellness brand Utama Spice is making its values count with a series of real-world initiatives that align with its commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and purpose-driven business. In celebration of Plastic-Free July, the brand is showing how conscious companies can drive meaningful change, one product, one partnership, and one purpose at a time.
“‘For People, For Earth, For Us’ isn’t a slogan, it’s how we operate, every day, in everything we do,” said Ria Templer, Director of Utama Spice.
“We’re proud to show that business success can and should come with responsibility and positive impact,” she added.
As part of its latest outreach, Utama Spice teamed up with fellow brands Armando Caruso and Indigo Kids to support the Bali Street Mums Foundation, a local nonprofit helping vulnerable women and children break free from poverty. The collaboration delivered essential donations including food, sanitary items, clothing, and household goods, an extension of Utama Spice’s belief that caring for people is just as important as caring for the planet.
On the environmental front, the brand has partnered with Seven Clean Seas, a global initiative focused on cleaning plastic waste from oceans. Through this partnership, each plastic bottle sold by Utama Spice now funds the removal of 30 grams of ocean plastic, roughly the equivalent of two full plastic bottles. It’s a small step with a big impact, turning daily purchases into direct contributions to ocean cleanup.
“This is not just about sustainability, it’s about action,” said Nyoman, President Director of Utama Spice. “From our communities to our coastlines, we want our customers to know that every choice they make with us is a vote for a better world.”
By combining social good with environmental action, Utama Spice is showing that brands with heart and intention can make a real difference. This Plastic-Free July, the company proves that business, when aligned with purpose, has the power to transform not just markets, but lives and ecosystems too.
