BALINEWS.ID – Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta has officially opened its newest signature dining venue, Djaman Doeloe Bali Resto & Bar, offering a nostalgic journey through Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage while embracing the vibrant energy of Kuta.

Blending traditional Balinese craftsmanship with modern design, the restaurant features two distinct dining areas, an outdoor space filled with natural light and a semi-indoor lounge overlooking the hotel’s expansive lagoon. Its design brings together wood and stone textures, creating an atmosphere that reflects Bali’s timeless spirit with a contemporary touch.

One of the highlights of Djaman Doeloe Bali is its signature culinary creations. Guests can savor Rijstaffel Ajengan Bali, a feast of iconic Balinese dishes including Ayam Sere Lemo, Tum Ayam, Sambal Matah, and Sate Lilit, carefully curated to showcase the island’s bold flavors and aromas. Another standout is Nasi Besek, served in a woven bamboo container symbolizing generosity, gratitude, and togetherness in Indonesian culture.

To complement the dishes, the bar introduces Arak-inspired cocktails—a creative twist on Bali’s traditional spirit made from fermented coconut flower sap, palm sap, or glutinous rice. These cocktails highlight the rich essence of Arak while appealing to modern palates.

“At Djaman Doeloe, we want to bring guests closer to Bali’s authentic flavors while creating memories that feel both traditional and contemporary,” said Chef Patrick Wilfred, the culinary mastermind behind the restaurant.

Djaman Doeloe Bali officially opens on 29 August 2025, operating daily from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM. It welcomes both hotel guests and outside visitors for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn or redeem points when dining, making each visit both memorable and rewarding.
