TABANAN, BALINEWS.ID – Reinforcing its commitment to environmental responsibility amid growing sustainability challenges across Bali, Ciputra Beach Resort hosted a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative titled “Bali Beach Clean Up”, on Saturday, 14th of February 2026.
This initiative in collaboration with environmental organization Seven Clean Seas which took place on Saturday at Batu Tampih Beach, Tabanan, combining environmental education with direct action to address coastal waste issues.
The initiative marked the resort’s first CSR program, focusing on a meaningful beach clean-up effort aimed at raising awareness about waste management and its environmental consequences, including flooding problems that have recently impacted several areas across the island.
The event was officially opened by William Hendharto Ciputra, GM Business Development of Ciputra Group and owner representative, accompanied by Mabel Anjali Primana, CSR Manager of Seven Clean Seas.
“This initiative reflects our long-term commitment to sustainability, especially in coastal areas where environmental preservation is essential. We believe that development must go hand in hand with responsibility, and through this activity, we want to encourage greater awareness about proper waste management and its impact on the environment,” said William Hendharto Ciputra after opening the event.
Approximately 30 to 50 participants joined the activity, including Ciputra Beach Resort’s management team, representatives from Seven Clean Seas, and volunteers. The program began with an environmental education session from 09:00 to 09:30 WITA, followed by a collaborative beach clean-up along the Batu Tampih shoreline, where participants collected plastic waste and debris while learning about sustainable environmental practices.
Mabel Anjali Primana emphasized the importance of collaboration between the private sector and environmental organizations in tackling marine pollution challenges.
“Partnerships like this are crucial because waste management is not only the responsibility of one party. When businesses, communities, and environmental organizations work together, we can create real impact and long-term behavioral change in protecting our oceans,” she explained.
Through this collaboration, Ciputra Beach Resort reaffirmed its commitment to responsible environmental stewardship, particularly in addressing waste management challenges as part of its broader contribution to preserving Bali’s coastal ecosystems.
The initiative also highlighted the importance of proactive efforts in tackling environmental issues such as flooding, which is often linked to improper waste disposal.
