DENPASAR, BALINEWS — Bali Police Chief Inspector General Pasma Royce received a courtesy visit from Udayana Regional Military Commander Major General Piek Budyakto on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, ahead of Budyakto’s new assignment as commander of Kodam V/Brawijaya.
The meeting, attended by the Bali deputy police chief and several senior Bali Regional Police officials, took place in a cordial atmosphere and served as an opportunity to strengthen institutional ties between the Bali Regional Police and Kodam IX/Udayana.
Both institutions play strategic roles in maintaining security and public order across Bali. Cooperation and coordination between the Indonesian National Police (Polri) and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) remain important to supporting regional stability and ensuring a safe environment for the public.
Budyakto’s upcoming appointment as commander of Kodam V/Brawijaya is part of the Indonesian Army’s organizational rotation and broader service assignments.
Despite the change in command responsibilities, the established relationship between the Bali Regional Police and Kodam IX/Udayana is expected to continue.
