Bali Police Assist Fuel Distribution Amid Queues, Escort Deliveries from Depot to Gas Stations

DENPASAR, BALINEWS — Personnel from the Bali Regional Police’s Samapta Directorate (Ditsamapta) provided security assistance and helped facilitate the distribution of fuel from the Sanggaran Fuel Terminal in Pesanggaran, Denpasar, to public fuel stations on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

The operation was carried out to support the smooth distribution of fuel to the public amid growing attention to fuel availability across Bali.

At the Pertamina depot in Pesanggaran, Ditsamapta personnel assisted Pertamina staff in filling fuel into three-liter jerrycans. Once filled, the containers were transferred to distribution vehicles with assistance from police personnel before being transported to designated distribution points.

Police officers escorted the vehicles en route to fuel stations to help maintain security and ensure the distribution process proceeded smoothly. Upon arrival, personnel also assisted fuel station staff in distributing fuel to members of the public.

The police involvement covered several stages of the distribution process, from assisting with fuel filling at the depot and loading the containers onto vehicles to escorting deliveries and supporting distribution at fuel stations.

The operation forms part of the Bali Regional Police’s efforts to support the smooth delivery of fuel to the public while helping maintain safety and order throughout the distribution process.

Coordination between Ditsamapta personnel, Pertamina, and fuel station staff is an important part of efforts to support public energy needs, particularly as fuel availability remains a concern among residents.

Through this initiative, the Bali Regional Police reaffirmed their commitment to providing direct assistance to the community. The police are also working to maintain a safe and orderly public environment throughout fuel distribution activities.

However, details regarding the reasons for the increased queues, the current fuel stock situation in Bali, and the total volume of fuel distributed were not specified in the information provided about the operation.

The Bali Regional Police hope that security assistance and coordination with relevant parties will help ensure the continued smooth distribution of fuel, allowing the public to access fuel services safely and in an orderly manner.
