Bali Police Chief Meets Hindu Leaders to Strengthen Religious Harmony and Tolerance

DENPASAR, BALINEWS — Bali Police Chief Inspector General Pasma Royce, S.I.K., M.H., met with officials from the Bali Provincial chapter of Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI) on Thursday, October 22, 2026, to strengthen cooperation in maintaining religious harmony and social cohesion across the island.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the Bali Regional Police and PHDI leaders to strengthen communication and collaboration in promoting a peaceful, harmonious, and respectful society amid Bali’s cultural and religious diversity.

During the meeting, Pasma Royce also delivered a public security and order message, urging all members of the community to play an active role in maintaining public safety, preserving social stability, and promoting tolerance throughout Bali.

Cooperation between the police and religious leaders is expected to continue through the spirit of sewanam, or service and devotion, to strengthen unity and encourage greater social responsibility within local communities.

Through its slogan, “Police Working Together with the Community,” the Bali Regional Police reaffirmed its commitment to working alongside all segments of society to help build a safe, peaceful, harmonious, and prosperous Bali.
