DENPASAR, BALINEWS — The Bali Regional Police visited worshippers at Al-Hikmah Mosque on Jalan Soka, Kesiman, Denpasar, on Saturday, October 25, 2026, as part of the Subuh Keliling (Suling), or Dawn Prayer Outreach Program. The initiative aims to strengthen ties between the police and local communities while promoting public safety and security.

The program, initiated by National Police Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto, was attended by Bali Police Public Relations Chief Senior Commissioner Ariasandy, S.I.K., several senior police officials, the East Denpasar Police Chief, community policing officers, mosque administrators, and worshippers.

The event began with a congregational dawn prayer, followed by a brief religious address and a dialogue between police officers and worshippers on public safety and security issues.

Representing the Bali Police Chief, Ariasandy said the Suling program was designed to strengthen community ties, provide an opportunity for police to hear public concerns directly, and build public trust in the Indonesian National Police (Polri).

“Through congregational dawn prayers, we want the police to be present in the community not only through law enforcement, but also through religious and social activities. We ask for the prayers and support of the congregation to help keep Bali safe, peaceful, and secure,” Ariasandy said.

During the visit, he also urged the community to maintain interfaith tolerance, which remains an important part of life in Bali. Worshippers were encouraged not to be easily provoked by hoaxes or issues that could undermine social harmony and national unity.

Ariasandy also emphasized the importance of parental supervision over children's social interactions, particularly amid the rapid development of digital technology.

“We also urge parents to pay closer attention to their children's social circles in this digital era. Let us protect the younger generation from the negative influences of drugs and radical ideologies,” he added.

The management of Al-Hikmah Mosque welcomed the visit and expressed appreciation for the police's attention to the mosque and its congregation.

The event concluded with an informal gathering and the distribution of social assistance in the form of basic food packages and copies of the Quran for the mosque.

Bali Police said the Suling program would continue on a rotating basis at mosques throughout its jurisdiction. The initiative is intended to strengthen communication with local communities, promote interfaith harmony, and help maintain public safety and security across Bali.
