DENPASAR, BALINEWS — The Bali Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNN Bali), together with its regency and municipal offices, held BERSINARUN RAVE 2026 to strengthen drug prevention efforts through sport and entertainment. The event, themed “Good Vibes, No Drugs,” took place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Kebon Vintage Cars in Kertalangu, Denpasar.
Organised in collaboration with the PELARI HORE running community, the event aimed to encourage the public, particularly younger generations, to adopt healthy lifestyles while raising awareness of the dangers of drug abuse.
Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency, Inspector General Putu Putera Sadana, S.I.K., M.Hum., M.M., attended the event. He expressed hope that the anti-drug campaign promoted by the President of Indonesia and the National Police Chief would reach all segments of society.
He also encouraged people to lead healthy and happy lives without drugs.
BNN Bali maintains that addressing drug-related problems requires more than law enforcement alone. Educational prevention campaigns and active community participation are also essential to building collective awareness and protecting younger generations from the dangers of narcotics.
Through BERSINARUN RAVE 2026, BNN Bali and its regional offices are seeking to encourage changes in public attitudes and social culture, making a healthy, drug-free lifestyle part of everyday life.
The event combined running with energetic electronic music and entertainment. This approach was intended to provide a positive recreational environment while delivering anti-drug messages through an engaging and accessible format.
BERSINARUN RAVE 2026 featured two running categories: a 5-kilometre (5K) race for the general public and a 3-kilometre (3K) category for children aged 10 and under.
The 3K category formed part of the ANANDA BERSINAR programme, which stands for Aksi Nasional Anti Narkotika Dimulai dari Anak Bersih Narkoba (National Anti-Narcotics Action Begins with Drug-Free Children).
Children participating in the 3K category completed the running route accompanied by their parents.
The involvement of parents was intended to reinforce the role of families in teaching children about the importance of staying away from drugs from an early age. In addition to providing an educational opportunity, the activity offered families a chance to spend quality time together through healthy physical exercise.
BNN Bali aims to make BERSINARUN RAVE 2026 a gathering point for runners and communities across Bali to unite around a shared commitment to preventing drug abuse.
By creating a safe, healthy and enjoyable atmosphere, the event seeks to reinforce the message that combating drug abuse requires the involvement of all parts of society, not just law enforcement agencies.
BNN Bali also hopes that combining sport and entertainment with drug prevention education will develop into a sustainable social movement across Bali and inspire similar initiatives in other parts of Indonesia.
The initiative supports broader efforts to develop a healthy, productive and drug-free younger generation, contributing to Indonesia’s ambition of achieving its Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
