BALINEWS.ID — The festive spirit comes alive in Uluwatu as Bartolo, one of the area’s most beloved European-style bistros, unveils a special series of Christmas and New Year celebrations filled with comforting French-Italian flavors, warm hospitality, and a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere. Throughout Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve, Bartolo invites guests to gather around the table and enjoy thoughtfully curated set menus that reflect the restaurant’s signature charm and culinary finesse.
Adding a festive highlight this season, Bartolo presents a special Christmas Lunch on 25 December from 12pm, complementing its popular dinner service. Both the Christmas Eve Dinner on 24 December, starting at 5pm, and the Christmas Day Lunch feature the same festive menu, priced at IDR 850k++ per person.
The celebration begins with a generous selection of starters inspired by classic European flavors, including Bread with Bottarga Butter, Rosette de Lyon dry-cured sausage, Chicken Liver Pâté with cranberries, Polenta Croquettes served with parmesan aioli and jamon serrano, and Bartolo’s savory take on the iconic Gilda featuring octopus, Manchego cheese, sundried tomatoes, and olives.
For the main course, guests can choose between Roasted Chicken with king oyster mushrooms and truffle, Seared Salmon paired with champagne beurre blanc and roe, or the festive favorite Beef Wellington served with rich jus. The experience concludes with Bartolo’s renowned Tiramisu, widely regarded as one of the island’s finest.
The celebrations continue on New Year’s Eve, with dinner starting at 5pm on 31 December. Guests are treated to elegant starters such as Mediterranean Seafood Salad and classic Steak Tartare, followed by a choice of Seared Salmon with champagne beurre blanc and roe or Entrecôte, a grilled ribeye finished with Sauce Bordelaise and shaved truffles. The New Year’s Eve set menu is priced at IDR 980k++ per person and ends, fittingly, with Bartolo’s signature Tiramisu.
Founder Rafael Nardo said the festive season reflects the heart of Bartolo’s philosophy. “Our festive events are built around the things that matter most: good flavors, good wine, and the people you share them with,” he said. “Whether it’s Christmas lunch with family or New Year’s dinner with friends, we want guests to feel completely at home.”
With its unmistakable European neighborhood vibe, Bartolo continues to offer more than just dining, creating a welcoming space for sharing moments, conversations, and celebrations throughout the holiday season. (*)
