BADUNG, BALINEWS.ID – Bali is once again set to shine on the international fashion map with the return of Bali Fashion Parade (BFP), one of the island’s largest and most prestigious fashion events. Now in its 4th edition, BFP 2025 will run over two days, 31 August at TS Suites Seminyak and 1 September at Jaya Sabha, the official residence of the Governor of Bali.
This year’s event brings a fresh concept under the theme “Cultural Revival”, reflecting the spirit of cultural preservation reinterpreted through the lens of modern fashion. Supported by the Bali Provincial Government and Dekranasda Bali, BFP 2025 underscores a shared mission: to elevate local fashion potential, empower creative MSMEs, and position Bali as a world-class fashion hub.

A Grand Showcase of Fashion
BFP 2025 will present 25 designers and brands from Bali, Jakarta, and abroad, featuring around 300 runway looks worn by 150 models of all ages. From traditional textiles to contemporary couture, the collections will highlight how Indonesian heritage can merge seamlessly with global trends.
“This is not only a fashion celebration, but also a cultural movement that brings stories, identity, and values of heritage to the global stage,” said the organizers from YMM Event Organizer and YMM Model Management under PT. Bali Anugrah Mega Gemilang.
Ahead of the main showcase, a series of pre-events has built momentum. The Model Icon Selection introduced the face of BFP 2025 in June, followed by the BFP Model Search whose winners were announced on 15 August, offering young talents a platform to shine both locally and internationally. A press conference on 19 August at TS Suites Seminyak officially opened the road to BFP 2025, attended by media, designers, and fashion enthusiasts.
Cultural Revival at the Core
The chosen theme emphasizes four key missions: reviving the archipelago’s heritage, merging tradition with modernity, placing local identity on the global stage, and promoting education and appreciation for cultural values in fashion.
By weaving tradition with innovation, such as batik in international silhouettes or handwoven fabrics with modern cuts, BFP 2025 seeks to prove that culture is not just a trend, but a living legacy.
With its vision to transform Bali into not only a tourism icon but also a fashion icon, Bali Fashion Parade 2025 stands as a milestone event where creativity, heritage, and global ambition unite. (*)
