Daniel Adityajaya Hands Over Bali Police Emblem to Pasma Royce in Leadership Transition Ceremony

DENPASAR, BALINEWS — The Bali Regional Police (Polda Bali) held a traditional ceremony to hand over its ceremonial emblem, known as the Pataka “Sura Dwipa Sarva Bavena,” at the police headquarters parade ground in Denpasar on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The ceremony marked a key stage in the leadership transition from outgoing Bali Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya to his successor, Inspector General Pasma Royce.

The ceremonial emblem was formally handed over by Daniel Adityajaya to Pasma Royce in the presence of senior Bali Regional Police officials, district and municipal police chiefs, and a combined formation of police personnel from across the province.

The handover of the Pataka “Sura Dwipa Sarva Bavena” symbolizes the transfer of authority, responsibility, and leadership honor within the Bali Regional Police.

The emblem carries the values of courage and steadfast commitment among police personnel in protecting and serving the community. These principles represent the spirit of service expected of officers as they carry out their duties throughout Bali.

The ceremony is part of the Indonesian National Police’s institutional tradition of marking a change in leadership. Beyond its ceremonial significance, the handover represents the continuity of the organization’s responsibilities in maintaining public security and order, enforcing the law, and providing services to the community.

By receiving the Bali Regional Police emblem, Pasma Royce formally assumed the symbolic responsibility associated with leading the institution. His duties include coordinating police personnel across the province to maintain security and public order throughout Bali.

The leadership transition comes as maintaining a safe and stable environment remains important for residents, businesses, and visitors, particularly in Bali’s tourism sector. The continued implementation of public services, law enforcement, and security operations remains a core responsibility of the police under the new leadership.

The handover of the Pataka “Sura Dwipa Sarva Bavena” marked one of the key events in the official transition of the Bali Police Chief position and symbolized the beginning of Pasma Royce’s leadership of the Bali Regional Police.
