KUTA, BALINEWS.ID – Mamaka by Ovolo, in collaboration with the Bali Children Foundation (BCF), is set to host Mamaka Fun Run Vol. II on Sunday, 26 October 2025, at Kuta Beach. This uplifting event forms part of Ovolo Hotels’ global Ovo-Walk / Run initiative, which will see over 640 participants across Bali, Hong Kong, and Australia running together to raise AUD 50,000 for children’s education in Bali.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, the 2025 edition introduces a new 10K race category alongside the popular 5K route. Starting and finishing at Kuta Skatepark, runners will enjoy scenic oceanfront views, live music, Zumba sessions, and family-friendly festivities. Every registration directly supports BCF’s sustainable education programs across the island.
Mamaka by Ovolo’s Area General Manager for Southeast Asia, Joel Bartlett, said the event goes beyond fitness. “Running with us means running for Bali’s future. Every kilometer covered opens doors to education and creates brighter futures for Bali’s children,” he shared.
Margaret Barry, Founder of Bali Children Foundation, added, “The Mamaka Fun Run is about community spirit, showing up for yourself, for each other, and for the children of Bali who deserve the chance to thrive.”
Since 2021, the partnership between Ovolo Hotels and BCF has renovated classrooms, funded school programs, and empowered thousands of underprivileged students. Registration for Mamaka Fun Run Vol. II is now open via MegaTix, with runner kits including a T-shirt, bib, medal, and the satisfaction of knowing every step makes a difference. (*)
