BADUNG, BALINEWS.ID – To welcome the Balinese New Year with a fresh perspective, Noema Resort Pererenan has unveiled a unique Nyepi retreat titled “Portal of Silence”. This activity offering guests an immersive stay that blends quiet reflection, creativity, and cultural experiences.
This exclusive retreat is scheduled from 18–20 March 2026, invites travelers to embrace Bali’s sacred Nyepi in a deeper and more meaningful way. Instead of simply observing the island-wide day of silence indoors, guests will experience a curated program designed to transform stillness into a moment of personal clarity, creativity, and cultural connection in the serene village of Pererenan.
Unlike conventional Nyepi hotel packages, the retreat introduces an artist-in-residence concept, where creativity becomes the centerpiece of the silent day. On Nyepi Day, guests will participate in an intimate artistic workshop guided by Balinese artists Andre Yoga and Asti Surya. Through the workshop, participants are encouraged to express their thoughts and emotions through art, turning the silence of Nyepi into a canvas for reflection and inspiration.
The experience begins a day earlier during Pengerupukan, when guests will witness the vibrant and dramatic Ogoh-Ogoh Parade. From a privileged viewing spot, they can observe the energetic procession of giant effigies paraded through the streets, symbolizing the cleansing of negative forces before the island enters 24 hours of total silence.
The “Portal of Silence” Nyepi package is available for a two-night stay from 18 to 20 March 2026, with bookings open until the first day of the program.
The resort offers two accommodation options:
–Tropical Studio at IDR 5,716,000 net for two guests,
– Imagi Suite at IDR 8,494,000 net, suitable for three adults or two adults with two children under 12.

The package includes a two-night stay in Noema’s design-forward rooms, daily breakfast, curated lunch and dinner experiences, access to the exclusive Nyepi art workshop, and a front-row opportunity to watch the Ogoh-Ogoh parade on Nyepi Eve.
“We want our guests to experience the magic of Bali’s silent day within our serene walls, where every detail invites them to slow down,” said Kay Tadjoedin. “By collaborating with artists like Andre and Asti, we are creating a space where guests can turn inward, nurture their creativity, and truly embrace the stillness.”
