BALINEW.ID – Marking a monumental milestone, The Patra Bali Resort & Villas is celebrating its 50th Anniversary with the powerful theme: “Golden Moments, Endless Journeys.” This golden jubilee serves as both a tribute to five decades of memories and achievements, and a statement of unwavering commitment to future innovation, sustainability, and service excellence.

A Month-Long Celebration of Unity, Legacy, and Purpose

The series of commemorative activities kicked off on Monday, July 7, 2025, with an Opening Ceremony at the resort’s Tennis Court. The event began with speeches by the General Manager and the 50th Anniversary Committee Chair, followed by a tree-planting ceremony, where 50 trees were symbolically planted around the hotel grounds,  a gesture that underlined the resort’s commitment to sustainability.

The morning concluded with a Zumba session and the start of the Futsal Competition, energizing staff across departments. The Futsal games continued on July 8, and culminated in a dramatic Final Match on July 11, with the Housekeeping team defeating a combined team from HR, Finance, and Security.

On Wednesday, July 9, the resort hosted a Blood Donation Drive in partnership with PDDI, PMI, and BHA. Held in The Gianyar Room, the event welcomed staff, guests, and external donors. Of the 93 registered participants, 68 successfully donated blood — a testament to the resort’s ongoing support for health initiatives.

The following day, Thursday, July 10, brought a more reflective tone with a Spiritual Session led by motivational speaker I Nyoman Ardika, S.Pd.H (known as Sengap). With the theme “The Influence of Work-Life Balance on Employee Motivation,” the session emphasized wellness and personal growth.

After a weekend break, the energy returned with the start of the Volleyball Cup on Monday, July 14, which included inter-departmental matches continuing until the finals on Friday, July 18. Once again, the Housekeeping team emerged victorious after facing off with the Security team in an exciting final match.

In the spirit of creativity, the Patra Idol Singing Competition was launched on Thursday, July 24, running over three days. Employees from various departments showcased their vocal talents, with winners earning a special spot to perform at the Grand Celebration in August.

Further affirming its dedication to the community, the resort conducted a Social Visit to Bali Baby Home in Gianyar on Friday, July 25. The management team brought donations including rice, milk, baby clothing, and other essentials, demonstrating the resort’s values of compassion and corporate responsibility.

The celebration continued on Sunday, August 3, with a heartwarming Family Fun Day. The event featured a Fun Walk ending at Jerman Beach, a Beach Clean-Up, and the symbolic release of 50 baby sea turtles (tukik),  a highlight for families and children. The day wrapped up with Zumba and fun games, promoting togetherness among staff and their loved ones.

The golden celebration will culminate in a Grand Event on Saturday, August 9, at The Denpasar Ballroom. The evening will feature live performances, an awards presentation, and a showcase of the Patra Idol winners. Dignitaries, loyal guests, and employees will gather to commemorate the resort’s incredible journey and toast to the decades ahead.
