JAKARTA, BALINEWS — Inspector General of Police Dr. Pasma Royce, S.I.K., M.H., has officially assumed the position of Bali Police Chief, succeeding Inspector General of Police Daniel Adityajaya, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si. The handover ceremony was led by National Police Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto, S.I.K., S.H., M.Si., at the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta on Friday, October 9, 2026.
The leadership change was part of a broader rotation of senior police officers aimed at organizational renewal and improving institutional performance.
As the new head of the Bali Regional Police, Pasma Royce is now responsible for maintaining public order and security across Bali, one of Indonesia’s leading international tourism destinations, where security demands remain high.
The island regularly hosts national and international events, requiring police readiness to maintain public safety, protect residents and visitors, and ensure a stable and secure environment for tourism activities.
Under the new leadership, the Bali Regional Police is expected to continue its strategic programs while strengthening coordination with local governments, tourism industry stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
Meanwhile, appreciation was expressed to Daniel Adityajaya for his dedication and service during his tenure as Bali Police Chief.
The handover ceremony at the National Police Headquarters concluded with the signing of the official transfer-of-office documents, the administration of the oath of office, and the signing of integrity pacts by the senior officers involved in the leadership changes.
