DENPASAR, BALINEWS.ID – PT Hatten Bali Tbk continues to shine on the global stage after securing multiple international accolades at two of the world’s most prestigious wine competitions, the China Wine & Spirits Awards (CWSA) 2025 and the AWC Vienna Summer Tasting 2025.
At CWSA 2025, Hatten Wines impressed judges with several of its flagship labels, each earning Gold Medals. These included Aga Red, Aga Rosé, Aga White, Jepun Sparkling Rosé, Pino de Bali, Sweet Alexandria, and Tunjung Brut Sparkling. The results further highlight Bali’s unique terroir and Hatten Wines’ ability to compete with the world’s finest.
CWSA is globally recognized for its rigorous Triple Blind-Tasting™ system, which ensures wines are judged without bias toward producer, origin, or price. “These awards reflect not only the quality of our wines but also the hard work, creativity, and vision of our team,” said IB Rai Budarsa, President Director of PT Hatten Bali Tbk.
“To have Bali-made wines recognized with so many Gold Medals at such a prestigious level is an honor that inspires us to continue showcasing the best of Indonesia to the world,” he added.
Meanwhile, at AWC Vienna Summer Tasting 2025—the world’s largest officially recognized wine competition, which saw 5,382 wines from 41 countries entered—Hatten Bali also brought home an impressive collection of honors. Gold Medals went to Pino de Bali and Sweet Alexandria (Hatten Wines), as well as Shiraz from Two Islands Reserve.
Silver Medals were awarded to Aga Red and Aga White (Hatten Wines), along with Blanc de Blancs and Cabernet Sauvignon from Two Islands Reserve. Additionally, a Seal of Approval was granted to Aga Rosé and Jepun Sparkling Rosé (Hatten Wines) and Chardonnay (Two Islands Reserve).
“These awards are a proud recognition of our team’s dedication, passion, and continuous pursuit of excellence,” said IGAA Reditya Candradewi, Marketing Manager of PT Hatten Bali Tbk. “Competing among thousands of exceptional wines from around the world, we are honored to have Bali-crafted wines stand on such a global stage.”
Founded in 1994 and officially operating as PT Hatten Bali since 2000, the company has grown into a pioneer of winemaking in Southeast Asia, managing vineyards in Singaraja and producing wines under four distinctive brands: Hatten Wines, Two Islands Wines, Two Islands Reserve, and Dragonfly Wines.
Beyond its award-winning portfolio, PT Hatten Bali Tbk plans to introduce new brands in early 2026, several of which have already earned international recognition at both CWSA and AWC Vienna ahead of their launch.
With these 2025 victories, PT Hatten Bali Tbk cements its reputation as a trailblazer in Indonesian winemaking, demonstrating that Bali-produced wines can proudly stand shoulder to shoulder with the world’s most celebrated vintages. (*)
