BALINEWS.ID – Bali’s pioneering winery, Hatten Wines, brought an exquisite culinary and wine-tasting experience to Surabaya with its latest event, “Temu Padu”, held at Tunjungan No.39. The evening highlighted a unique concept of pairing fine wines with authentic Indonesian dishes, offering guests a memorable harmony of flavors.
The showcase featured six specially selected wines from Hatten Wines and its sister brand Two Islands, crafted from vineyards in Bali and premium wine regions of South Australia.
Among the highlights were Two Islands Sparkling Chardonnay, Hatten Sweet Alexandria, Two Islands Reserve Chardonnay, Two Islands Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Two Islands Reserve Shiraz, and Hatten Pino di Bali.
Guided by James Kalleske, Head of Winemaker at PT Hatten Bali Tbk, guests were introduced to the art of winemaking and the distinct qualities of Hatten’s award-winning portfolio.
The event was held in collaboration with PT Yala Indo Perkasa, Hatten’s official sub-distributor in Surabaya, marking a stronger presence of the Balinese winery in the city’s growing wine scene.
“Surabaya is a city with extraordinary culinary energy, and we are excited to bring a new experience by pairing Hatten wines with authentic Indonesian flavors. This event is not only a celebration of diversity in taste but also marks the availability of our wines in Surabaya,” said Kalleske.
The event ran from 6:00 PM until late, welcoming wine enthusiasts, culinary experts, and lifestyle connoisseurs to enjoy an evening of discovery and indulgence.
