BALINEWS.ID – Marriott Business Council Bali officially launched the Road To Give 2025 program, uniting over 30 Marriott International properties across Bali, Lombok, and Labuan Bajo to raise funds and awareness for local communities. The announcement was made during a press conference at Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Ngurah Rai.
As one of Marriott International’s largest annual fundraising events, Road To Give encourages participants—both Marriott associates and the public—to engage in running, walking, or cycling while contributing to social and environmental causes. The initiative reflects Marriott’s Serve 360: Doing Good in Every Direction platform, with a strong focus on community well-being and sustainability.
This year’s program features three main events across Indonesia’s most iconic destinations. In Lombok (September 28, 2025), Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort and The Sira will host a 3K Charity Walk combined with a coastal cleanup.
In Bali (October 11, 2025), 27 Marriott properties will gather at Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park for a 5K Race Run, a 2K Fun Run, family-friendly activities, and community activations. Meanwhile, Labuan Bajo (October 18, 2025) will see TA’AKTANA, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, host a 5K charity run involving local communities and partners.
Funds raised will be directed to two non-profit partners: Bali Children Foundation, which provides access to education for underprivileged children in Bali and Lombok, and Solar Chapter, which supplies solar-powered water and lighting systems to remote villages in East Nusa Tenggara.
“Road To Give 2025 is where wellbeing meets purpose. By coming together through movement, we are building stronger communities and ensuring that our efforts extend beyond ourselves to support education and clean energy access,” said Franklyn Kocek, Multi-Property General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Bali Seminyak & Fairfield by Marriott South Kuta, and Chairman of Road To Give 2025 Bali.
I Wayan Raksa, General Manager of Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa and Co-chair of Marriott Business Council Bali, added: “Road To Give reflects Marriott’s spirit of service and our shared responsibility to uplift the communities we are part of. Through this initiative, we demonstrate how collaboration across 30 Marriott International properties can help drive long-term, positive change in Bali, Lombok, and Labuan Bajo.”
In addition to the charity runs, supporters can contribute through an online auction featuring luxury Marriott stays in destinations such as Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, and India. The auction runs until October 31, 2025, via https://bit.ly/RTG2025BaliAuction.
Marriott International emphasized that the initiative aligns with its sustainability and community impact commitments, particularly under the Nurture Our World and Sustain Responsible Operations pillars of Serve 360. (*)
