JAAN Indonesia, a non-profit that began its work in the Netherlands and has operated in Indonesia since 2008, has been on the front lines of fighting wildlife abuse. Their initiatives range from saving animals from illegal captivity to deploying a specialized K9 unit that helps uncover and halt trafficking rings. The organization also works closely with Indonesian authorities to strengthen animal protection laws.
