Bank BPD Bali Wins Second Place in TASPEN Pension Payment Performance Awards, Reinforces Commitment to Retirees

JAKARTA, BALINEWS — PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Bali (Bank BPD Bali) has received second place in the Small Category for its performance as a pension payment partner of PT TASPEN (Persero), recognizing the bank’s efforts to ensure reliable pension payment services.

The award was presented during the Coordination Meeting on Pension Payment Partner Performance Evaluation and the Signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) and PT TASPEN (Persero), held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Yusuf Anwar Hall, Directorate General of Treasury Headquarters, Central Jakarta.

The meeting aimed to evaluate pension payment performance while strengthening governance and data integration between the Directorate General of Treasury and pension payment partners. Bank BPD Bali was among the strategic partners specifically invited to attend the event, alongside banking institutions and postal service providers from across Indonesia.

Bank BPD Bali President Director I Nyoman Sudharma, S.H., M.H., expressed his gratitude for the recognition from the Directorate General of Treasury and PT TASPEN. He said the award reflected the dedication of the bank’s employees in maintaining high-quality banking services, particularly for retired customers.

“This award reflects the dedication of everyone at Bank BPD Bali to providing excellent banking services. We recognize the significant contributions pensioners have made to the country, and it is our responsibility to ensure that their pension benefits are distributed securely, promptly, and accurately,” Sudharma said.

He emphasized that pension services involve more than the payment process itself. They also require maintaining customer trust and ensuring that retirees can conveniently access the benefits they have earned through years of service.

Bank BPD Bali, he added, remains committed to improving its services and strengthening cooperation with the government, PT TASPEN, and PT ASABRI (Persero). The bank also plans to continue developing digital service innovations to make banking transactions more accessible and convenient for its customers.

“We would like to thank the pensioners who have chosen Bank BPD Bali. We remain committed to providing them with the best possible service,” Sudharma said.

In addition to the award presentation, the coordination meeting included the signing of a cooperation agreement on data exchange between the Directorate General of Treasury and PT TASPEN. The agenda also featured a keynote speech by the Director General of Treasury and a focus group discussion (FGD) on pension payment performance.

The discussion involved representatives from the Directorate of Treasury Systems, the boards of directors of PT TASPEN and PT ASABRI, and other relevant stakeholders. The session focused on evaluating pension payment implementation and strengthening coordination among the institutions involved.

For Bank BPD Bali, the award serves as further motivation to maintain service consistency and improve the quality of banking services for retirees. Through stronger institutional partnerships and continued innovation, the bank aims to provide pension payment services that are increasingly accessible, secure, and timely.
